Joshua Selinger has been infatuated by the medium of film for as long as he can remember. Inspired by the unconventional and original, he has made it his mission to always bring something fresh and exciting to the table in an attempt to keep both himself and the viewer on their toes.

Joshua directed the short video To Break Through as part of an initiative called Doc Shop, a program that gives emerging talent an opportunity to make a documentary with the help of the National Film Board of Canada, CBC and the schools that they are attending. At the time, Joshua was at Dawson College in their cinema and communications program.

He has since attended the Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema at Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec.
