Soy El Muro que Habla is a short documentary which tells the story of a young woman who uses aerosol to lay claim to her voice, to her ideals and to inspire the freedom of urban expression. It is the story of Shalak, a young female graffiti muralist. Being a daughter of immigrants and having been raised in Canada, Shalak grew up speaking three languages, Spanish, English and French. As a young child she expressed herself by using a combination of all three languages, and was consequently told she had a learning disability because her verbal expression was not precise or uni-lingual. This is the story of how she over came the imposed labels of being an inept communicator, how she discovered graffiti, and how it empowered her voice to become stronger than anyone could have imagined.

I really like the sound of the wind and street that we can hear in the video. That is a symbol that the work arts is inside of the city . Your works is the voice of the city you are like a medium. I believe in the voice of the comun people the arts is parts of the life is inside is not for the elite. Your mural represent liberty of acces of arts. everybody can be represent inside. arts it is not far of our life is in each corner.
