Hello World
I have recently entered the Miss Africa USA pageant, in hopes of represent my country Liberia and implementing various community health projects in the country and for Africa as a whole. My platform in a nutshell is about decreasing the stigma surrounding Mental Health and HIV/AIDS through developments of educational outreach groups and support groups for those individuals living with these health issues in my country and Africa as whole. I know I have the ability to implement these programs. I have the education and work experience in both Mental Health and HIV/AIDS, and most importantly the passion. I have had the wonderful opportunity to work with HIV/AIDS outreach group, and in various arenas of Mental Health in the U.S. In doing so, I've been able to link communities to these resources and I would just like the opportunity to provide the community members of my country and hopefully Africa as a whole with these same resources and opportunities.
To reach my goal I need the support of my community. This is how you can help. The pageant has an online voting poll, where individuals can cast their votes EVERYDAY for their favorite contestant. The voting polls count towards 10% of your overall score. I'm doing really well, but I still really need your help.
You can either click the link below or just copy and paste this link in your URL box and cast your vote for Yatta David as Miss Liberia USA, and hopefully Miss Africa USA.

Voting ends December 15th 2009, so please tell your friends, family, and co-workers, to help support me in achieving my goal. You can VOTE MULTIPLE TIMES A DAY from different computers, and you can even cast your vote from your Blackberry, I-phone, or any kind of PDA or phone that has Internet access. If you have any question or would like to provide hands on help with implementing this project please feel free to email anytime. Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
