Nir Blue set out to write an uplifting song. The result: "Everything", a compilation of positive responses to the banal question "How is everything?" When his wife, Tamar Kozlov, heard it she thought it sounded sarcastic and cynical...that inspired Nir to think of combining the music with archival images of Nuclear explosions. They gathered a bunch of stock footage and Tamar edited them to Nir's song. The resulting contrast between the lyrics and the images takes on a meaning of its own...one that depends on the viewer's subjective emotional response. The visuals are meant to highlight the irresponsibility of destructive quests for power and man's god complex -- as some explosions look like basic life forms poking out through our atmosphere.
